A Flower Sings A Song

This is an original composition I created for my science class.

Sung to the tune of Get Me to the Church on Time.

I included the lyrics and the ukelele chords below. Please enjoy!

C
I see the sunlight in the morning,
C
I watch it travel through the skies,
G7
Suck up that power, Move that little flower,
G7 C
And watch me as I  photosynthesize!

C
I’m green from stem up to my stamen,
C
Full of that lovely chlorophyll,
G7
Inhale see oh-two, Exhale some oh-two
G7 C
And photosynthesize in organelles!

F                     C
I’m making glucose, with chloroplasts,
D7
Grana and stroma, main members of my cast, so

C
I’m riding on that Calvin Cycle,
C
Hope that sugar don’t go to my things,
G7
I help make starches that you, much at Golden Arches,
G7
So watch me as I photo-
G7
So watch me as I photo-
G7 C
So watch me as I photosynthesize!
